Knowing All About Great Lounge Music

By Freida Michael

Human beings everywhere know that Wayne Newton, Barry Manilow, Sammy Davis Jr., Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee can all be heard on radio stations. Many younger people are now listening to lounge music because these particular songs are more sensible and have a true meaning.

Fortunately Tony Bennett is still alive and well and he has been playing these great tunes all of his life. Mr. Bennett recently did some duets with famous artists who are under the age of sixty. This is a great male who has been around for more than eighty years and his tunes are often played within a dentist or doctor's office. These types of sounds help the patients to relax while the skilled professionals are giving them an examination.

Tony is one singer who knows how to relate to people of all generations. Dusty Springfield was also a famous singer who had the chance to sing the classic hit single "I Only Want To Be With You." Several people have done this song over again but their version is not as perfect as Ms. Springfield. Dusty's voice will be along with people as they take a long elevator ride within a very large building.

The older generation was very fascinated by Dusty's songs and they enjoyed listening to her great voice which could be loud or soft. "What Have I Done To Deserve This" was a hit song done by Dusty Springfield and the very popular "Pet Shop Boys." The duo invited Dusty to be their special guest star on this entertaining song which sold millions.

It is always great to hear the instrumental version of this song since it is so unique and stylish. Many employers like to have this song on their play list throughout the day and the employees really appreciate hearing it. Dusty's grand voice will live on in her recordings. Another great singer named Frank Sinatra also did his best to entertain people.

Frank Sinatra was a man who had the deepest bluest eyes that anyone had ever seen. Mr. Sinatra also performed with the "Rat Pack" many years ago and this group loved to visit Las Vegas. A British native named Tom Jones was also part of the Nevada scene in the past.

There are many women walking around Las Vegas who have once given their panties away to Mr. Tom Jones. Mr. Jones was very happy to receive these wonderful gifts while he was doing some of his erotic singing. In time Tom has slowed things down a little but he is still one great singer who is popular for the single "It's Not Unusual." On the other hand Wayne Newton has never been much of a ladies man while performing.

Whenever he goes on stage Mr. Newton is greeted with kindness. He does not mind being called a saloon singer and is very grateful to still have a successful career after so many years. Many older people can really relate to this type of singing since they cannot stand pop, rock or rap. These great songs will be a part of society in many years to come.
