Finding Out About New Country Rock

By Claudine Hodges

Everyone in America loves to listen to great music since certain melodies can really make a person feel better. This is one reason why new country rock is wonderful to have around. There are certain individuals who do not want to hear music that is very loud and has no meaning at all.

So many of the rap singers living around the world are now seeing a decline in their record sales. Western music has truly taken over every radio station and record stores that are around. A true legend within the western singing world is named Juice Newton and she gained fame in a short period of time.

Juice was primarily a western singer but her songs were always crossing over to the pop charts. She had a very odd style that many people found to be fascinating and disturbing at the same time. Each and every year this lady always managed to have a hit song on the top forty chart.

Music during the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's was great and children today are visiting old record stores to find these tunes. Taylor Swift knows exactly how to deliver a good song for all of her audience members whenever she gives a concert. Even though Taylor is very young she seems to have the spirit of an older and wiser individual. Her love songs are always inspiring teenagers who are depressed or bored with their lives. She really gives them the courage to continue the difficult road of life.

Taylor is also able to transform herself into a hard rocker who is able to make the audience jump for joy. Fortunately Ms. Swift will be around for some time to come since she is still very young and innocent. Another great rocker is a woman called Carrie Underwood. Carrie first appeared on a television series called "American Idol" many years ago. After she completed that particular contest Ms. Underwood was able work full time within the western music field.

All of the older singers cannot wait to perform certain songs with the very lovely Carrie Underwood. Carrie can team up with Bruce Springsteen, Barbara Streisand or any of the other legends from the past. At first many people thought that she would simply disappear after her time on "American Idol" was over but she proved them all wrong. She will continue to work for many years to come.

In the past many people remember the late great singer named Eddie Rabbit who ruled the western music scene for quite some time. Mr. Rabbit truly amazed people with his number one hit record "I Love A Rainy Night." He went on to record the tune "Step By Step" and other really great sounds. He was a true inspiration to many individuals living in America until his untimely death in 1998.

Whenever someone wants to be reminded of good toe tapping western songs they can pull out a hit tune called "Islands In The Stream." This good old song was recorded by the lovely Dolly Parton and western music legend Kenny Rogers. The two of them really changed the way people thought about western lyrics.
