People choose to form and play in these acts for different reasons. Some do it for a specific role, others as a hobby, and then there are a select group who did it as a job. These acts are known to perform on the streets, as well as in entertainment venues, such as bars and casinos. Some are given contracts to perform at certain venues and are paid for the performances. Generally, those who decide to be involves have some kind of musical talent. They can usually play instruments, sing and are well familiar with the work of Diamond.

Diamond has received numerous honors and awards throughout his career. His discography includes more than 30 studio albums. He has also recorder over 30 hit songs. Globally, he has sold over 70 million records. These stats are just some examples as to why many people choose to impersonate or cover his work.
